This reverse harem, academia, omegaverse book was so much fun to read. It is full of intrigue and romance. There is little world building but the character development is great. I’m giving this free and volunteer review after receiving an advance reader’s copy. Jane is a mercy, a woman who heals by kissing her patients, during which time her powers are transferred into the patient which heals or alleviates their pain. She is called to service a major in the United Armed Front of the Civin States in his barracks. She was expected to heal his beta/mate who had been poisoned when injured during combat with the Vistria nation. When things go awry Jane needs to take things into her own hands to save herself. Her fate is later determined by the major and she is whisked off to Bleak house, a dorm on the Sentinel college campus. From there she meets an eclectic group of alpha males and the intrigue continues. This book leaves off on a cliffhanger which keeps you wanting more.

I really enjoyed this book and gave it a 4.5 ⭐️ rating overall with a rating of 2 on the spicy scale. Book two is due out next year, A Kiss to Hurt sounds amazing and I look forward to reading it. I highly recommend A Kiss to Heal.
