Mason Klaus is the grumpy and callous CEO of Smurfit Toys, Lyla Smurfit is the daughter of the former owner of the company, which has been in the family for generations. Before Christmas Lyla finds Klaus drunk at the office during an unauthorized company holiday party. Hours after taking him home he shows up at her home angry because there was a fire at the factory they run together. Klaus’s father has died recently and he needs to return to his hometown. But, he wants Lyla to go with him since the factory will be closed down for weeks. He transports them to Yule with a bell, taking along her cat. I want to thank the author and NetGalley for this free arc and give this review voluntarily and freely. This easy read, grumpy x sunshine, enemy to lovers, slow burn magical story is perfect for the holidays. It is well written and has some twists on your traditional Christmas story. I highly recommend this book and have it a 4.5 ⭐️ rating with a spicy rating of 2. I throughly enjoyed this book.
