Maelyn (Mae) Jones is a woman working in a going nowhere job, living at home with her mother and living her last year of Christmas season at the Utah cabin of friends. And, she just committed the worst romantic faux pas of her life. After finding out the cabin she has spent every Christmas since she was born is to be sold she requests a simple answer to the question of what will make her happy. A car accident and several strange incidents keep sending her back to December 20th, each time she gets to stay longer in the present timeline until she determines what will make her happy. Or does she? This closed door, childhood friends to lovers, and happily ever after ending tropes drive this cozy book. I have found this book fun and lighthearted. I have rated this book a 4 ⭐️ closed door story. The narrator, Patti Murin did an excellent job.
