J R Ward did it again with a vampire/werewolf novel that includes the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Two love stories are present in this book. The first is a second chance love story between a werewolf and vampire who spent thirty years separated only to find each other again. This story is not without angst and sadness that has plagued them both. The second one is about different class vampires who find each other under difficult circumstances. The characters are well developed and include characters from the original series of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. I gave this a 3.5 ⭐️ rating with a 2.5 🌶️ spicy rating. It is a good book for this series and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys fantasy and romance together.
