Beau and Bailey are an unlikely couple due to an age gap that prevents Beau from fully committing. This fifth and final book of the Chestnut Springs series is not much different than the previous four. A couple that should be together but struggle until they finally make the commitment only to have something to come between them. This book has age gap, he falls first, PTSD, physical injury, life changing secrets, family abuse and found family tropes. There is đśď¸đśď¸đśď¸ spice, alcohol involvement and abusive family dynamics. I highly recommend this book for the writing and the HEA.
